Everything Ready for the Long UCI Enduro World Cup Weekend in Val di Fassa Trentino

Only a few hours remain before the start of the long UCI Enduro World Cup Val di Fassa Trentino weekend, taking place from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 June in the heart of the Dolomites. The Local Organising Committee is putting the finishing touches in place, from setting up the Event Village and marking out the special stages to coordinating the teams of volunteers who will ensure the smooth running of the event.

Two competitions will be held, with a total of 500 riders expected on the start line. On one side, Round 3 of the 2026 UCI Enduro World Cup, reserved for professional athletes competing in the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series, and on the other, the Enduro Open for amateur riders. For the first time in the history of the Enduro World Cup, professionals and amateurs will race on exactly the same course.

The 2026 format marks another step back towards the roots of enduro: both categories will race over two days, preceded by two days of practice. That means four days on the bike in total, with training on Thursday and Friday and racing on Saturday and Sunday.

This year’s race will also span all the main sectors of the area – Col Rodella, Belvedere, Ciampac and Arabba – offering competitors a true journey through the territory. This is something deeply rooted in the nature of enduro itself: moving through different environments, reading constantly changing terrain and discovering new viewpoints and mountainsides. Seven special stages are scheduled, three on Saturday and four on Sunday. Day 1 will be entirely pedal-powered, emphasizing the endurance aspect that is such a fundamental part of the discipline, while Day 2 will combine pedal transfers with lift-assisted sections.

The two race loops, split between Saturday and Sunday, add up to almost 60 kilometres and 2,633 metres of descending. Including the two days of practice, riders will accumulate more than 120 kilometres on the bike and over 5,200 metres of descending throughout the four-day event.

Special attention has also been given to spectators. On both Saturday and Sunday, the final stage of the day will finish directly inside the Event Village, making it easy for fans to enjoy the race finale and podium ceremonies. Several trails across the area, together with the entire Sellaronda circuit, will remain open to ensure the continuity of the valley’s bike offering.

To further enhance the fan experience, the Organising Committee has also prepared two GPX routes allowing spectators to follow the race by bike, riding open trails and catching the athletes at several points along the course.

The Event Village will open on Friday 26 June and will feature an expo area, team paddock, technical support services and a food & beverage zone. Partners present will include DHaRCO, Fassa Coop and Monster Energy, together with the Forst Beer Garden and several food outlets. Official technical support will also be available with Andreani for Öhlins, Raicam for Fox, RockShox and Shimano.

As always, particular attention will be paid to sustainability and reducing the overall environmental impact of the event, prioritising partnerships and activations with local companies and implementing measures aimed at minimizing waste and reducing the use of disposable materials.

From June 25 to 28, Val di Fassa will once again welcome the global enduro family, ready to enjoy four days of sport, passion and spectacular racing among the trails of the Dolomites.
