World Cup Weekend in Val di Fassa: Ride During the Race!
23 June 2026Four days on the bike for an enduro race moving back towards its roots: seven stages, two days of racing and more than 2,600 metres of descending in the heart of the Fassa Bike District
With the official course announcement by the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series, the countdown to the 2026 UCI Enduro World Cup Val di Fassa Trentino, scheduled for June 26-28, is entering its final phase.
Seven stages spread across two days of racing, 59.58 km in total and 2,633 metres of descent.
As already announced, the 2026 format brings both UCI Enduro World Cup riders and Shimano Enduro Open competitors back to a two-day race format. This means that, including training and racing, all participants will spend four consecutive days on their bikes, accumulating a significant amount of climbing and descending.
From the very beginning, the goal of the Local Organising Committee was clear: to bring Open riders back onto the exact same course as the World Cup, just like in the early days of the discipline. To achieve this, some deliberate choices were made: balancing the difficulty of the stages while restoring the importance of endurance and energy management, two elements that have always been part of enduro’s DNA.
The result is a completely new course, blending classic stages, revised sections and the return of trails that have not featured in competition for a very long time.
Among the most iconic stages are 9.90, Titans, Infinity and Ciasates EDR, the latter in the configuration used in recent seasons. A shorter version of Tutti Frutti also returns, starting just below the ridge and connecting with Fassa and Furious.
There is also room for a welcome return from the past. On the Arabba side, the Lezuo + All Fever combination returns to racing for the first time since the 2016 Superenduro MTB. Looking back to the more recent history of the discipline, Ciasates EWS also returns. It differs from the more familiar Ciasates EDR by removing the mid-stage pedalling sections and finishing with the spectacular sprint across the meadow lined with spectators.
While Loop 1 is entirely pedal-powered, the second race loop will use three lift systems: Alba-Ciampac, Canazei-Pecol and the Fodom gondola on the Arabba side.
At this link, the Trailforks event page is available, featuring separate maps for Loop 1 and Loop 2.
In the coming days, we will also publish a map showing the trails that will remain open and rideable during the World Cup weekend. It will be useful both for those who want to keep riding in the Fassa Bike District and for those planning a ride while following the World Cup action from trackside.
