Practice Done in Val di Fassa – Trentino: Tomorrow, It’s Time to Race
26 June 2026Following the first day of practice, the official Course Preview takes riders and fans through the 2026 race course: two days of racing, seven special stages, four mountain sectors and a shared format for both Pro and Open categories.
The first day of practice has come to an end in Val di Fassa Trentino, with riders tackling the opening three special stages of the race course: Tutti Frutti, 9.90 and Ciasates. Sunny weather, perfect trail conditions and very positive early feedback from the competitors made for an excellent start to the event week.
Tomorrow, practice will continue on the remaining four stages – Titans, Lezuo, Infinity and Ciasates – completing the official training for both the UCI Enduro World Cup and the Shimano Enduro Open. This year, Pro and Open riders share exactly the same course, riding the same trails and racing on the same terrain across both race days.
The official Course Preview Video has just been released, highlighting all the key features of this year’s course. The route spans all the main sectors of the area – Col Rodella, Belvedere, Ciampac and Arabba – even crossing two Italian regions, Trentino and Veneto, thanks to the stages on the Arabba side.
Leading the preview are Elliott Heap, WBD’s new presenter, former enduro rider and EWS Under-21 Champion, alongside Jack Moir, overall winner of the 2021 UCI Enduro World Cup. Together, they break down the special stages, key sections and the technical challenges awaiting riders throughout the race weekend.

The Championship Battle Heats Up
The fight for the overall standings is becoming increasingly exciting.
In the men’s field, Sławomir Łukasik arrives in Val di Fassa fresh from his victory in Austria, but still has ground to make up on overall series leader Alex Rudeau. Also one to watch is Lief Rodgers, coming off the best result of his career and a podium finish that confirms him as one of the sport’s rising stars.
In the women’s race, Ella Conolly remains one of the favourites, but the competition is getting stronger with every round. Winnifred Goldsbury’s victory in Austria and the return of Isabeau Courdurier add even more excitement to a race that promises to deliver spectacular action.
Val di Fassa is ready. The trails are ready. Now it’s time for the racing to begin.
