Grit and Glory: Enduro returns to Val di Fassa, Trentino
18 November 2025
Entries now open for the Shimano Enduro Open of the UCI MTB World Series in Val di Fassa, Trentino 2026
17 April 2026Pro and Open riders will compete on the same course, with a single paddock designed to bring back the sense of belonging that defines the discipline.
We are approaching the opening of registrations for the Shimano Enduro Open Racing 2026 in Val di Fassa Trentino, scheduled from June 26–28, 2026.

A round included in the official series calendar, within an increasingly articulated circuit, where some venues host multiple disciplines, while others – like Val di Fassa – have chosen to focus exclusively on enduro.
Open and Pro, finally on the same ground: same course, same days, same challenge
The big news for 2026, valid across the entire Enduro Open Racing series, is that riders will compete on the same course as the UCI Enduro World Cup race, on the exact same stages and on the same days.
A major change, fully aligned with the direction Val di Fassa has been following for years: a concrete step toward the original spirit of enduro, expressed here also through a two-day race format.
An experience built around fun, exploration, and the desire to compete — for those who want to push their limits and test their fitness, riding skills, and adaptability.

Participants will start just a few hours before the professionals and then wait for them at the finish, allowing for a direct comparison of times with the world’s best, on the same terrain, in the same conditions and on the same marked course — while also experiencing the thrill of cheering for the Pro riders at the finish.
One paddock, one community
Another key update, focused on experience and participation, is that the paddock will once again be shared, with Pro and Open riders in the same team area.
A choice strongly supported by Val di Fassa, which has long been working toward unifying the team areas. Because enduro is also about this: a discipline deeply connected to everyday riding, where sharing spaces is part of the culture.
A single paddock means bringing back the atmosphere that made enduro special:
one big family.

A vision shaping the future of enduro
Enduro is moving in a clearer direction, built year after year through the shared effort of destinations, riders, and industry stakeholders.
Races are complex, the territories are vast, the trails long, and the organization demanding — so the path can sometimes feel challenging. But when riders show up in numbers and cross the finish line with a smile, it becomes clear that the direction is the right one.
In this context, the goal is simple: to offer a real challenge for professionals while creating an engaging experience for amateurs. And this is exactly the direction of the 2026 edition in Val di Fassa.

With an evolving format, a unique territory, and a growing participation, Val di Fassa confirms itself as one of the most iconic venues in the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series calendar.
The Enduro Open in Val di Fassa – Trentino continues to stand out for its legendary trails, strong identity, and authentic enduro atmosphere.
